SAMPLES;
Action/Journal Sample: [One moment he had been reborn with Usagi and the others, and the next, as they were being sent home, he had seen his world fall dark. It seems like a dream even now, as he looks up into the black night with a clenched fist at his side. What's happened? Why isn't he home with those who had been around him?
Usako...
He reaches out with his heart, his mind, his spirit, into the new world he stood on and the space around it, searching for answers. Usako, are you here? He wants to hear her voice--see her face--feel her life somewhere near to him--so he keeps looking and calling out. She has to be there, he tells himself, because he has faith in her and in their love. Surely their destinies wouldn't part ways at such an important time.
Please, Usako...
Feeling the slightest reverberation back to him, he pulls out the device that he was given upon arrival. He's no stranger to weird, talking creatures or technology, so he flips it on. If that is her, he thinks, he can see her face on here, if what he remembers is true.]
By now it's not unusual for people to appear from different worlds-- [Or so he's gathered from the moogles.] --but I do wonder what kind of people have been chosen to appear here.
[He isn't sure he trusts what kind of people are present, but if allies are present, he figures he can find out the truth from them.]
In any case, my name is Mamoru Chiba. Maybe someone can tell me a little more about what - or who - is behind this darkness.
RP Sample: Absently, he moved gemstone over gemstone in his hands as he let his mind wander. Was it time to call on them? How much of his former allies were left in these little rocks? He treasured all four and it was likely he'd continue to keep them on display far into the Thirtieth Century and long after he could stop hearing their voices of counsel, as even the feel of them in his palms was soothing.
Sometimes he missed those peaceful days in the past. Even sneaking around to see Usagi had been fun back then, when they felt like they could conquer anything that came their way. That was one thing that hadn't changed - he had the utmost confidence in Usagi's ability to overcome any obstacle - but now that they had lived through so much together, it felt so much different. Their love had not changed either, but back then leading the world as the future king had seemed far more real than it did now. Times like this he still struggled with the responsibility that was going to be placed on their shoulders so soon.
Of course, they would take everything as it came together--he and Usagi together. There would be the wedding, and then the birth of little Chibi-Usa. He already felt like a father in a lot of ways, having helped to protect and train Chibi-Usa while she stayed with them in the past. And it had only seemed fitting that his only child would be a little girl - another princess for him to spoil. He was already used to it.
As he smiled to himself, he could feel the gems in his hand ripple with a similar warmth. Master... It was always Kunzite who first addressed him, as formally as ever. They had been brothers in arms for so long, and they still continued to advise and protect him from the grave. True comrades, he thought.
"I may need your strength soon," he told them, before he carefully placed each one back in the case. Once he knew more he would be back to discuss things with them. All he knew about this new darkness, after all, was that he had to defeat it alongside his princess.

Your age: 25 (aka. a QUARTER OF A CENTURY)
THE CHARACTER;
Series/Fandom: Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
Character's Name: Mamoru Chiba
Character's Sex: Male
Character's Age: 19
Canon point: After being sent back to earth upon being revived in the Cauldron.
Abilities:
- Psychokinesis: He can heal his own wounds as well as others wounds. This is explicitly stated in Act 16 when one of his underclassmen happens to see him heal a wound he receives in a soccer game, and he keeps his future daughter's, Chibi-Usa's, body alive after her soul is stolen in Act 34.
- Psychometry: He constantly is able to see past, present, and future events through touch, whether it's with another body or with the Earth itself. This can extend into jewels as well, going so far as to allow him to have conversations with his fallen generals using their respective stones (this is seen twice after their death, both in the Black Moon arc and the Dead Moon Circus arc).
- Telepathy: Whenever Usagi is in need of help or calling out to him, Mamoru can hear her and feel her distress. This extends somewhat to their future daughter, Chibi-Usa, as well. He, Usagi, and Chibi-Usa all share a strong spiritual connection that can cross space and time, and it even allows Mamoru to find Chibi-Usa amongst the vast space-time void when she turns into Black Lady and causes it to rage with storms.
- Astral Projection: In the future, King Endymion displays the ability to project his conscience into an apparition of himself that can walk around the Crystal Palace and guides Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask, and Sailor Venus through the future while telling them about the Black Moon clan. At the time his body is "dead" within the palace due to the curse that's been afflicted upon the land, though it is preserved thanks to the Silver Crystal.
- Tuxedo Mask: In some ways, Tuxedo Mask is another form of Mamoru, much like Sailor Moon is another form of Usagi. In this form he has access to a move called Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber which emits a blast of energy from his hand. In this form he can also create new powers with Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi-Moon, such as new attacks (like Pink Sugar Tuxedo Attack with Sailor Chibi-Moon) and new weapons (such as the Moon Rod in the Black Moon arc). He also has slightly more physical prowess while in this form, but he isn't as strong as the Sailor Soldiers that protect Usagi (and he knows it).
- Prince/King Endymion: In his past life, Mamoru was seen wielding swords. In the future, he is granted a royal staff which houses his Gold Crystal and acts as both a cane of sorts and a sword. It's likely he still has the same ability he did in his previous life with a sword, as all of the other Sailor Soldiers possess their previous life's abilities as well. This is also a form he doesn't seem to have control over yet, rather he transforms into the Prince/King when Usagi becomes the Princess/Queen and it is necessary for the circumstances.
- Gold Crystal: In the Dead Moon Circus arc, Mamoru discovers that he has a Golden Crystal within him, just like Usagi's Silver. Together they are to be used to protect the Earth, and this is what grants him power. Within it is his Star Seed, which Galatica steals at the beginning of the next arc.
Strengths:
More than being physically strong, which he is to a point, Mamoru is emotionally and spiritually tough. As Sailor Moon's strength often depends on the Silver Crystal, which depends on her heart, he is present to keep her heart steady and sure. He is quickly mastering psychometry and psychokinesis, even faster than before, as his future self comments. He always knows where he can be to support Sailor Moon and her guardians best, which is usually protecting their future daughter or saving her. He also knows the power of a few good words in a fight, and on one occasion his willpower alone allowed him to break out of nightmares and save everyone else. He believes in his dreams and trusts those around him, so he knows how valuable those qualities can be.
Weaknesses:
Mamoru is not the most physical of heroes, and he is weaker power-wise than all of the other Sailor Soldiers around Sailor Moon. He has been used on a few occasions against Sailor Moon after falling prey to mind control, and will readily sacrifice himself for the sake of Sailor Moon or Chibi-Usa. Canonly his health is also linked to the state of the Earth, as his health deteriorates once the core of the planet, Elysion, is conquered by the Dead Moon. Paopu icecream is his kryptonite.

BONUS: The moment he, as Prince Endymion, becomes a glimpse of King Endymion with the power of the Gold Crystal he possesses (Luna and Artemis remark that it's akin to a coronation): 1, 2, 3
Personality:
Although Mamoru is seen as being a rather mysterious character in the first arc of the manga, Mars sums him up well in Act 23 of the second arc. "...[Mamoru's] sense of responsibility is strong. He's the type to keep his promises," she comments. Jupiter goes on to say, "He's thought through what his role and responsibility is. He wanted to help in a way that leaves [Usagi] with the freedom to move. Usagi, it's because we're with you and he trusts us implicitly. He's decided to devote all of his energy into protecting Chibi-Usa--the child he had with you, the most precious thing in the world to him." In fact, every time Mamoru's thoughts are shown, he is always thinking of how to best help Usagi or lamenting that he was unable to fulfill his duty to protect her. No matter how much Usagi doubts, he constantly reassures her that he loves and thinks only of her and that their dreams coincide. He supports her and her friends in any way he can, researching their enemies and always being on hand.
In fact, he thinks of the well-being of everyone, and the main objective of what needs to be done, that he often stays more focused and makes the harder decisions of the group. For example, when the Dead Moon Circus arrived and he fell ill, he tried to keep his condition a secret from Usagi so that she would not get distracted or catch what was plaguing him. He protects Chibi-Usa with a fierce sense of duty, and he often has to keep both his future daughter and his future wife from getting too carried away. During the Dead Moon Circus arc, Usagi sees a dream where Mamoru tells her his dream is to marry her and he waits on her hand and foot, but she quickly comes out of it upon realizing that he's far more strict on her than that--for her own well-being. He knows by then that she's going to be the future queen of the world, so giving her a push in her studies and making sure she's independent can't hurt. Of course, if they really want something (like the kaleidoscopes from the Dead Moon Circus or help with Chibi-Usa's sculpture project, or even Usagi staying over) he can't say no to them.
Mamoru is also incredibly loyal to those he loves and cares for, and he's forgiving of mistakes. He keeps the left-behind gems of his former Generals in a glass case so they're kept safe, and he both trusts and consults them after their death, despite their betrayal. He readily reassures those close to him such as Usagi and Chibi-Usa, and from time to time it extends even to the other Sailor Soldiers. As Mars commented, he trusts the other Sailor Soldiers without question, especially since they protect what is most important to him. On top of that, his dream is to protect the Earth alongside Usagi, and that includes all of the Earth's citizens. He shows time and again that he would give his life to protect Usagi, the other Soldiers, and the Earth.
However, Mamoru is rather introverted and keeps to himself. He opens up a little more as the series progresses, particularly with his underclassman, Asanuma, but while Usagi is constantly surrounded by her friends, Mamoru is typically on his own. When things began, he was on his own as Tuxedo Mask and lacked memories of his childhood and parents. The lack of memories made him uncertain about just who he was, and even after he found the answer and discovered he was the rebirthed Endymion, he was uncertain of what he should do to best assist Sailor Moon. He found the answer, of course, and once he did he became steadfast in that duty, but his tendency to work alone and keep his thoughts and feelings to himself doesn't change. This even makes Usagi uneasy from time to time since she can't always tell what he's thinking or how he's feeling, but as soon as he realizes it, he verbalizes at least his feelings to her.
Though his introverted personality makes him seem more distant, he still involves himself whenever he's needed. He's incredibly focused on his studies and bettering himself in order to better aid those around him, and he trudges on steadily toward the future he wishes to create with Usagi and the rest of the Soldiers. He knows he has a place amongst them, and he works to always be able to fill the gaps that he can see pop up. His distance, in this way, benefits everyone. And his ability to stay calm in the heat of battle helps Usagi make it through some of the tougher battles with him at her side, such as the battle with Metalia. Overall, he is the rock that Usagi can lean on, for better or worse, until death parts them (if it can ever manage to).
